FAQ OFF !!! - For foreign customers only ! ;)
Is this an Antifa site or a site made by people who loathe DI6 ?
- Not at all ! Who would be silly enough to learn all the songs by heart just to ruin them ? Next question please !
Who the fuck is Jean-Luc Aszcek ?
- Born in Rodez, France in 1955, Jean-Luc Aszcek worked 18 years as a car salesman
hence his fondness for the famous french car Renault 18. When he lost his job in 1992
he fell in some kind of depression and while he was looking for music to cheer himself
up, he found in a second hand record shop in Clermont-Ferrand, an old disc-rotted copy
of what is now his cult record : "But what ends when the symbols shatter ?". JLA is
still unemployed, and is about to become a homeless too ! Bloody capitalism !
What the hell is he talking about, I can't understand a single word...
- Faut l'appart is a song about a guy in desperate search of a flat in his hometown and
speaks about how hard it can get before you find a suitable one. Les vieux strings is
about me, Paul and Franz going to an industrial party in my old Renaut 18. Chaussettes
Destroy is about a guy who complains about the worn-out socks he bought from a black
man in New-York (that's what the chorus says). Un sacré Belge ("A damn good Belgian
guy", litterally) features my friend David Laos (aka Christ 51) on vocals, a heavy
boozer I met at some local bar and who sings about how boring our town can get and how
we met that extraordinarily funny Belgian guy.
Is JLA really funny, I mean his songs ?
- Of course he is ! Too bad you don't speak French !
Will there be some translations available ?
- Maybe ! As well as some extra stuff for the blind, the deaf, the hard of hearing and the American !
